Trying to get pregnant when the world seems to have other plans…

Day 36 February 4, 2010

Filed under: Uncategorized — ttcwithpcos @ 5:15 PM

Embryo Transfer complete!! We had two beautiful 8 cell compacted embryos transferred this afternoon. I’m at my parents’ house on bedrest since Brian has class tonight and then working third shift. Two looooooooooooong weeks from now we’ll know if we’re pregnant!!

I did find out that of the 3 embryos that didn’t fertilize, two were not mature and one simply didn’t take. We still have 17 embryos growing and they will continue to let them grow to blastocyst stage before freezing them. I can call on Monday afternoon to find out how many made it to freeze.

They gave us a picture of the embryos as well as the petri dish they were growing in and we used the “lucky locker” suggested by our friends Mollie & Paul so we’re hoping these babies settle in for 9 months or so!
